IrrigationX ("we", "our") makes smart irrigation hardware and the IrrigationX companion app. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run your irrigation system, we don't sell data, and we don't track you.
Account email — if you create an account, we store your email address so your hubs follow you across your devices and so family sharing works.
Push notification token — a device identifier issued by Apple, used only to send you watering alerts (started / finished) for your own system.
Your irrigation data — hub and zone status, watering history and schedules travel between your hardware, our cloud relay (cloud.irrigationx.net), and your phone so the app works away from home. This data describes your irrigation system, not you.
Weather location — if you enable AI watering, the city or coordinates you choose are stored on your own hub to fetch a public weather forecast. The app does not use your phone's GPS.
We do not sell or share your personal information. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers. We do not access your contacts, photos, or location. Bluetooth is used only during first-time hub setup, to find your hub's setup signal by name — nothing is read from other devices.
Most of your system's data lives on your own hub, in your home. Our cloud relay passes encrypted traffic between your phone and your hub and stores the minimum needed for remote access: your hub's ID, its pairing tokens, your account email, and push tokens.
Delete a hub from the app to remove its pairing from your account. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at irrigationxsupport@gmail.com and we will remove it within 30 days. Factory-resetting your hub erases the data stored on the hardware itself.
The app is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
